CloudBackup in Wikipedia
The lack of capacity with CD and DVD media limits them to very small amounts of data. They are not good at big backup operations even though they are okay at quck small saves. Just imagine if you need to back up your database server? How many DVD/CD ROMS will it take to get this done? This is no problem for cloud backups.
